Born and raised in New York, Kevin has an excellent under-standing of US boarding schools and liberal arts colleges. He graduated from Milton Academy and later Bowdoin College, studying economics, East Asian Studies, and Education. More recently, he has finished a Masters in Chinese Language and Culture at Fudan University.
While at Bowdoin, Kevin fully engaged with the campus community, always creating opportunities for himself and others. His activities included Asian Students Alliance, a cappella, rugby, lacrosse, tutoring, and food service with a smile. More importantly, he worked as a Senior Interviewer with the Bowdoin College Admissions Office.
Throughout three under-graduate summers, he interned with JP Morgan in various capacities, from Investor Relations to Wealth Management, before deciding to pursue a career in education consulting overseas.
During his time at Bowdoin, Kevin developed strong critical thinking, writing, and presentation skills. These soft and hard skills have transferred to his consulting work– everything from essay writing to interview training. Since graduating from Bowdoin, he has worked in Shanghai as an education consultant, collaborating with students to achieve dream acceptances to schools such as MIT, UChicago, Northwestern, Tufts, Wes-leyan, UMichigan, UC Berkeley, UCLA, USC, Boston College, BU, NYU, Rice, Getach,UNC-Chapel Hill, UVA, Purdue, Lehigh, Reed, Babson, Cambridge (UK), and much more.
Above all, Kevin is passionate about mentoring younger students. Most importantly, for him, it is all about forming close relationships and getting to know people personally. Empowering people to do more than they think they can. This mentality and philosophy of work have shone through in his dedication towards his students, guiding them towards greater self-reflection and awareness in their work. He hopes to support students and families with trusted guidance and a wealth of first-hand experience with his background.
